Evaluación de la fidelidad de una intervención educativa para la prevención del Virus del Papiloma Humano en adolescentes

Resumen

transmisión sexual más prevalentes, con implicaciones significativas para
la salud pública. La adolescencia es una etapa clave para implementar
intervenciones educativas preventivas que promuevan conductas sexuales
responsables. Por tanto, se planteó el objetivo de evaluar la fidelidad de una
intervención educativa para la prevención del virus del papiloma humano
en adolescentes.
Material y métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio no experimental descriptivo
de tipo transversal a una muestra de 393 estudiantes de nivel secundaria de
14 años de edad seleccionados por conveniencia. La intervención consistió
en sesiones educativas participativas con enfoque en derechos sexuales y
reproductivos. La fidelidad de la intervención fue evaluada considerando
la tasa de retención, tasa de cumplimiento y se aplicó la escala evaluación
de los participantes al instructor y a la calidad del programa para medir la
aceptabilidad y satisfacción de los participantes en una escala tipo Likert
donde uno sugiere poca satisfacción y cinco muy satisfecho.
Resultados: Los resultados sugieren que el programa de prevención de VPH
se implementó con éxito, mostrando una tasa promedio de cumplimiento
de sesiones, de 89,11%, una tasa de aceptabilidad del 97,7% y una alta
satisfacción (M=4,502, DE=0,627) de los participantes con el contenido, las
actividades y los facilitadores fueron bien recibidos y se adaptaron a sus
necesidades.
Discusión:
Conclusiones: La estructura y el diseño del programa de intervención son
efectivos y viables para evaluar si la intervención realmente está logrando
su objetivo principal.
