Abstract

The research aims to study right-wing parties in Chile and Argentina that participated in presidential elections between 2013 and 2019, using the comparative qualitative method. The central question seeks to identify whether there is a combination of internal or external conditions that explain the success of these parties in elections. The study analyzes the conditions that led right-wing candidates to electoral success, focusing on finding causal configurations that can explain this success in both countries. Finally, the research presents its conclusions.
