Digital Sustainability is emerging as a strategic pillar for scientific, technological, and productive development in contexts shaped by digital transformation and contemporary socio-environmental challenges. This approach integrates the responsible use of digital technologies with criteria of energy efficiency and ethical information management, recognizing the role of digitalization as a catalyst for more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economies. From an interdisciplinary perspective, it addresses the interrelationship between technological infrastructure, energy resources, and data management as key elements in the transition toward low environmental-impact productive models. Tools such as process digitalization, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent platforms enable the optimization of resource use and the strengthening of decision-making processes. This perspective invites reflection on the balance between technological innovation and socio-environmental responsibility, highlighting the role of scientific research in the development of sustainable digital systems oriented toward social well-being and comprehensive development.
