Abstract
The main objective of this research is to design a Tourism Promotion plan for San Lorenzo del Pailón County in Esmeraldas Province for increasing the volume of tourists and improving the quality of life of the local residents. The county holds significant natural and cultural wealth, and thus inventories were prepared regarding attractions specified by Ministry of Tourism in order to identify the locations with the greatest potential. Tourism activities are available, but the residents are not aware of how to take advantage of the resources that nature offers, and therefore the County has not been able to position itself as a point of reference for Tourism, and it is hoped that the promotion of the county will convert it into a potential tourism icon.
