Modo de falla en premolares superiores endodonciados, rehabilitados con coronas de disilicato de litio

Resumen

Factores como la reducción de tejido dental existente después de un tratamiento endodóntico, el diseño de tallado y el material restaurador condiciona el éxito de la rehabilitación. Objetivo: Evaluar la resistencia compresiva y el modo de falla frente a fuerzas axiales de premolares superiores endodonciados, rehabilitados con coronas de disilicato de litio. Metodología: treinta premolares superiores sanos, aleatoriamente serán clasificados en tres grupos, un grupo control y dos experimentales. Todos los dientes fueron endodonciados y rehabilitados con coronas de disilicato de litio. Las muestras serán sometidas a 5000 ciclos antes de someterse a fuerzas compresivas axiales con la máquina de fuerzas universales. Resultados: Los valores de la resistencia compresiva son para el grupo control (D) 675,7 N, para los grupos experimentales, grupo perno corona (C) 1118,5 N y grupo endocorona (E) 1403,9 N, mediante la prueba Post Hoc de Tukey, Diente (D) y Perno Corona (C) p= 0.020, Diente (D) con Endocorona (E) el p= 0.000, en la relación Perno Corona (C) con Endocorona (E) p = 0.171 > 0.05 es la única relación donde no existe una diferencia significativa entre estas dos variables. La prueba t de Student indica que el tratamiento de Endocorona es la que más resiste a la compresión. En cuanto al modo de fallo, al realizar la prueba de Chi-cuadrado se tiene un p= 0.301. Conclusión: se determina que la endocorona es el procedimiento recomendado.
