The situation that the world has experienced since the beginning of 2020 has affected humanity, and within it, higher education. In countries like Ecuador, where there was already a previous economic crisis, the situation was worse than in other contexts. Those who are part of the Academy must worry beyond fulfilling their obligations. In a work that continues in development, from the specific experience of non-face-to-face teaching, some conclusions have been obtained that would allow, first, to demonstrate the feasibility of teaching-learning processes despite the difficulty of current conditions. Second, face the change that society, in general, will suffer as a result of the pandemic. Finally, as soon as the health situation and the challenges in the university learning processes are overcome, consider the conditions of the performance of architecture as such, which graduate students will find in a world different from the one existing until 2019, in the face of changes in the social and economic context, which will require understanding first and innovating later, considering that the teaching schemes applied corresponded to a different world.
