Los implantes cortos y extra-cortos son empleados con mayor frecuencia en la clínica dental. Cuando se emplean de forma unitaria, el protocolo de diagnóstico y posterior rehabilitación debe ser cuidadoso para poder obtener los mejores resultados y el éxito del tratamiento. Para ello, el uso de un protocolo de fresado adecuado al lecho óseo y la confección de prótesis que minimicen los errores (flujo digital y transepiteliales unitarios) son clave, tal como mostramos en este caso clínico.
