No. 47 (2025): Contemporary perspectives of Historical Writing
History as a discipline has undergone several changes over time about research interrogatives, primary sources, and theoretical frameworks and methodologies. This ability of history to offer various interpretations of human action in the past and present has responded to various moments in which historical production itself has become a form of combat. Often, the shifts and changes in the discipline itself have occurred in times of crisis, in which its practitioners have tried multiple responses to social problems. This dossier offers diverse contemporary Latin American perspectives from the view of history of the colonial world, political disputes, artistic criticism, science, and other topics.
