Dossier Vol13 Issue 1

Siembra, journal of Central University of Ecuador’s (UCE) ‘Life Sciences’ Area, invites the academic and scientific community to submit manuscripts for Volume 13, Number 1, to be published between January and June 2026.

Siembra publishes in continuous flow, the results of multidisciplinary scientific and technological research in the following fields: agricultural sciences, livestock sciences, biological and environmental sciences.

The theme of the Dossier for Volume 13, Number 1 is Water resources and climate change: adaptation and mitigation.
Academics and researchers working in this field are invited to submit their contributions on the following topics:

· Land use and climate change
· Urban and agricultural water demand
· Flash floods
· Water supply
· Wastewater
· Desalination
· Analysis of water costs (economic and social)
· Soil erosion
· Remote sensing
· Planning system toolbox for risk reduction and adaptation
· Measures to adapt to climate change.
